Black Labrador Retriever
This is my father in laws dog named Duke he is a Labrador retriever and loves to run in the hills above Provo where they live. He especially loves to chase animals like squirrels and rabbits.
Meet Mr. Cat
This is my daughters cat named Toph he gets exposure on my site quite a bit mainly because animals are one of my favorite subjects to take pictures of. I have really been enjoying my new iPhone 4S especially the camera is much improved.

A quick review of the iPhone 4S
I just recently made a long awaited upgraded from my iPhone 3GS to the new iPhone 4S. So far I am extremely happy with all of it’s functions. Thought I would share some of my first thoughts on using it in week 1. Although I have not used Siri very much yet it did not recognize my wife’s name unless I said her last name as well. For example I had to say new text to Jane Doe and not text Jane. I do understand it does this from contacts it just sounds weird talking to my phone I think that alone will take some getting used to. The photo taking ability is one of the things I have also really liked better on iPhone 4S. Bellow is a sample picture from it’s new 8mp camera that I took using the new HDR mode I have also added an antique look to the photo.
Overall it for me is a huge upgrade from my former 3GS iPhone making me say that the iPhone 4S a great addition to the Apple iPhone progression. If you have comments or things to add about your experience with any iPhone model please let us know with a comment bellow.
Old Tree
Capital reef National Park is such an amazing place holding many wonderful things such as this old tree. Tree’s like this that continue to stand tall long after they are dead are so cool to me. It is like they have there very own temple that they built in their honor. I took this picture while visiting durring the summer. I hope to both visit in winter as well and to some day own land with a cabin I have built their to enjoy even more time in this place.
Old Ford Tractor
This is the logo on an old Ford tractor I love things with age on them or patina it just makes things great.

Scary Sponge Bob
Experimenting with my 50mm lens shooting on different settings took this photo of Sponge Bob square pants toy in front of fake skull “Scary Sponge Bob”. I am learning how to use this lens but so far it’s really cool especially being not that expensive to get.
On The Green
I almost all the time I think simple is best that said this photo is just that simply a golf ball on the putting surface witch is called the green in golf. This picture of this golf ball was taken earlier in the summer but since it has just snowed for the first time here in Salt Lake City, Utah making local golf out of the question for me for several months, it will keep me thinking of this game i love to play until my next round. Hopefully I will get some play in before next spring while visiting my family in southern California.
